Founded by lutenist and guitarist Simone Vallerotonda, I Bassifondi explore 17th–18th-century Italian repertoire for plucked strings — tiorba, baroque guitar, colascione — with continuo and percussion, combining source-based research with vivid, improvisatory performance.
