About the concert
Massimiliano Grotto is the winner of numerous first prizes in national and international competitions including “Concorso nazionale Città di Piove di Sacco,” “Concorso pianistico nazionale Villa Oliva,” “Concorso internazionale Città di San Donà di Piave,” “La Palma d’Oro” in San Benedetto del Tronto, “Concorso Internazionale Citta di Villafranca,” and “Concorso internazionale Premio Salieri,” where he also won the ‘special prize’ for the best performance of a classical sonata. He also won first prize overall at the “Crescendo International Music Competition” thanks to which he performed at Carnegie Hall in New York. During 2021, he won second prize at the “Euregio Piano Award” in Geilenkirchen and the Oleggio International Competition
